Name: Paris Whitney Hilton
Born: 17 February 1981
Occupation: Heiress, Socialite, Reality TV star, Singer, Model, Designer
Paris Hilton is the great granddaughter of the founder of Hilton Hotels, Conrad Hilton. She was born the oldest of four children(Nicky as her younger sister) to Kathy, a former actress, and Rick, a businessman. Although she was born in New York, she was raised on both coasts. As a teenager, she began modeling for T Management, owned by Donald Trump and she quickly rose to fame as a staple in entertainment news because of her partying ways and the slew of men she dated.
In 2003 she got her own reality television show called The Simple Life, co-starring Nicole Richie, which lasted until 2007. She has also appeared in numerous movies, such as Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!, House of Wax, and Bottoms Up. She has had many guest appearances in a variety of television shows and in 2008 got another television show called Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, and in 2009 also did copycat shows called Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend and Paris Hilton’s Dubai BFF.
Paris has also been on the cover of many magazines and has modeled for noted brands such as Guess?, Christian Dior, and Tommy Hilfiger. She has more than a few perfumes out under her own name and is also involved in fashion, designing her own footwear, clothing, and handbag lines. Paris has ventured into the music scene and in 2006 released an album simply titled Paris. She has also penned two autobiographies, Confessions of an Heiress: A Tongue-in-Chic Peek Behind the Pose, and Your Heiress Diary: Confess It All to Me. Paris also makes between $25,000 and $100,000 per appearance for clubs and parties.
Although she’s still rather young, we estimate her own net worth to be $100,000,000 (GBP 63,471,000), and that’s not including what she’ll inherit.
So how much is $100 million dollars really?
It’s quite obvious Paris enjoys seeing herself on magazines and in newspapers. She certainly doesn’t shy away from the camera. We’re thinking if she really enjoys it, she should just start her own. Kind of like Oprah did, and like Oprah, she can be on the cover every month. We’re quite certain she’d never get sick of herself. Having said that, it reportedly cost Oprah $20 million to successfully start her O magazine, so Paris could actually have 5 different magazines every month, each featuring….her. After all, even if the magazines tanked, she’s still got daddy’s money to look forward to.
