Hot news this morning is the arrest of Justin Bieber last night. Miami police found him participating in a drag race down in Miami Beach. At the scene of the arrest, Bieber failed a field sobriety test and was also charged with a DUI.

Justin Bieber, still a young 19, initially attempted to resist arrest, giving the arresting officer a piece of his mind. He is, after all, Justin Bieber, right? Later, according to Chief Raymond Martinez of the Miami Police Department, he admitted to drinking, smoking pot, and taking prescription drugs. Some news sources claim his drivers license is also expired.

Does that young celebrity sob story ring a bell to anyone? Seems it’s set itself up time and time again in the past few years.

The area where Bieber was drag racing his lemon yellow Lamborghini was a residential zone with a speed limit of 30mph. Justin was estimated to be driving approximately 55 to 60 mph.  The driver of the other vehicle, as yet unidentified, was also arrested for DUI.

This is bad news for Bieber, who has had several interesting brushes with the law lately. It was only about a week ago when one of his neighbors accused him of egging her LA County home. When the police came to his home, he refused to let the police see his cell phone. They can get whatever texts they need from his carrier, with a warrant, so he really should have just given it up. The issue has not yet been settled.

We can collectively roll our eyes at this point.

His agent is encouraging him to sell his Calabasas home and move elsewhere. He hasn’t exactly made nicey-nice with his neighbors, and his management team wants to avoid further issues.

One thing is for sure, despite now having a net worth of $130 million, Justin Bieber is sure doing a good job of creating a terrible reputation for himself these days.
