Born in 1999 to parents Gina and William, Chandler Riggs hasn’t walked this earth for an incredibly long time. This Atlanta, Georgia native is known primarily for his role as Carl Grimes on The Walking Dead.

Chandler did start his career with a few roles in local theater productions. He also starred in a television movie known as The Wronged Man. He’s also appeared as a special guest in 10 different episodes of Hershels Land.

Because he’s so young, there isn’t a ton to tell you about him – not that is public knowledge, anyway. He loves to play Minecraft and at one point said his favorite TV show was Phineas and Ferb.

A fun fact about his role in The Walking Dead. While Chandler’s character carries a “real gun” in the show, Georgia law prohibits Chandler from actually touching any sort of projectile weapon. During filming, Chandler actually uses a cap gun.

With a current net worth of approximately $1 million, Chandler Riggs has a long way to go. He’s already been nominated for a series of awards and was a proud part of the group that won “Best Cast – Television Series” at Satellite Awards.

How much is $1 million?

For a young man, $1 million is quite a bit, I’m sure. Chandler has already shown us he has a big heart while participating in fundraisers for the Isaiah Alonso Foundation, a group dedicated to raising awareness of childhood cancer. I personally think his participation in this type of charity work is a great place to start, and I hope to see him expand his reach as he matures and has a stronger ability to help others!
