Name: Shiloh Hoganson
Born: April 25, 1993
Occupation: Singer, songwriter
Shiloh Hoganson was born in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada on April 25, 1993. She has lived in several places in the western part of Canada, including Alberta and Saskatchewan.
At just 15 years of age, Shiloh moved to Vancouver in order to work with Hipjoint Productions, a songwriting-production team that has written and produced several songs on her first album: Picture Imperfect. The company also worked on “Operator (A Girl Like Me),” Shiloh’s Canadian Platinum-selling single.
Shiloh previously dated Onision – she was not engaged to be married contrary to rumors.
In 2008, Shiloh signed with Universal Music Canada, which released her debut album a year later. Soon afterwards, Shiloh signed a global co-published deal with Ole/Tanjola as a songwriter as well as an American deal with Universal Republic.
Just how popular was her first single? “Operator (A Girl Like Me)” charted on the Canadian Hot 100 and was listed as Billboard Canada’s No. 1 Emerging Talent Artist. Shiloh was also nominated for Pop Video of the Year and UR Fave: New Artist at the 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards in addition to being a performer. Shiloh garnered a nod for a Juno Award, too.
Her latest release came in 2010 with the hit song “Can’t Hold On.”
Due to the overwhelming success and popularity of her music, Shiloh’s songs can be heard in several mainstream television shows, including “Gossip Girl,” “Degrassi: The Next Generation,” “Majority Rules” and “What Happens in Vegas.”
Shiloh has noted in interviews that Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra and Celine Dion have been her idols and major influences on her music and her love of music. She is also a philanthropist: she donates the money she earns from her live shows to charities. For instance, in 2009, the receipts generated at a Hamilton Place Theatre concert went to World Vision and a child she sponsored.
She is a private person and not too many news reports can be found about her.
We estimate that Shiloh Hoganson’s net worth is $2 million (2015).
So how much is really $2 million?
$2 million could help sponsor more than 4,000 children for an entire year at World Vision. Since Shiloh is a big fan of Sinatra, Jackson and Dion, $2 million can also buy you more than 18,000 copies of their CD collections.
