Name: Saraya-Jade Bevis
Born: August 17, 1992
Occupation: Professional wrestler and entrepreneur
Paige was born on August 17, 1992 in Norwich, England. She is the daughter of British professional wrestling legends Ian Bevis and Julia-Hamer Bevis. She has two brothers: Roy and Zak, who are also professional wrestlers.
Paige attended The Hewett School and graduated in 2008. She intended to become a zoologist, but the world of professional wrestling intrigued her. Paige learned the art of wrestling at her father’s wrestling training school. Growing up, some of her favorite wrestlers were “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Rikishi and Lita.
She has been in romantic relationships with singer Bradley Walden and guitarist Kevin Skaff. It has been reported (2016) that Paige is dating fellow World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) performer Alberto Del Rio.
Paige would go on to make her pro-wrestling debut at just the age of 13, using the ring name Britani Knight. Paige’s very first job outside of wrestling was at the age of 15, when she worked as a bartender and a bouncer at her parents’ bar when they went away on business or vacation. With a newfound passion for pro-wrestling, Paige worked at various independent wrestling promotions, including World Association of Wrestling (WAW), World Association of Women’s Wrestling (WAWW), World Wide Wrestling League (W3L), Herts and Essex Wrestling (HEW) and many others. Paige would make a big name for herself by competing in Shimmer Women Athletes, an all-female pro-wrestling company.
Paige would try out for the WWE when a talent scout had arrived at a show in England. Although she did not make it on her first try, she would be successful in her next attempt. In September 2011, Paige was signed to a WWE contract and was sent to the Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), the company’s then-development territory.
As the WWE rebranded its developmental territory, FCW was transformed into WWE NXT. Paige would become the focal point of the developmental territory by not only winning the NXT Women’s Championship, but also competing in superb matches with the likes of Emma, Sasha Banks and Sofia Cortez. After holding the women’s title for 308 days, she vacated the championship in order to make her main roster debut.
Paige would go on to debut on the April 7 edition of Monday Night Raw, which was the night after WrestleMania XXX. In Paige’s very first night on the main roster, she would defeat A.J. Lee and become the WWE Divas Champion. She would go on to compete in various feuds, including with the likes of the Bella Twins, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Natalya and Team BAD.
In addition to pro-wrestling, Paige is a full-time cast member of the hit reality television series “Total Divas.” She also starred in the straight-to-DVD film “Santa’s Little Helper.” In 2015, Paige co-launched The Dark Gypsy, a coffee company.
We estimate that Paige’s net worth is $3 million (2015).
So how much is $3 million really?
$3 million can help you launch an international coffee company. $3 million can also help you launch not only a wrestling training academy but also a wrestling promotion. $3 million can also buy you about 10,000 shares of WWE stock.
