Kim Richards was born on September 19, 1964 in Mineola, New York. She is the daughter of Kathleen Mary Dugan and Kenneth Edwin Richards. She has two siblings: Kathy Hilton and Kyle Richards. Some of her nieces include the likes of Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Sophia Umansky and Portia Umansky. Her family comes from Irish and Welsh ancestry.
She attended Imperial High School in Imperial, California and graduated in 1983.
Kim has been married twice before. Her first marriage was to G. Monty Brinson, which lasted from 1985 to 1988. Her second marriage was with Gregg Davis, which lasted from 1989 to 1991. Kim would then enter into a relationship with aircraft-parts supplier John Jackson in 1994. She is now romantically linked to Maine entrepreneur Todd Jason Voisine. Kim has four children: Brooke Brinson, Whitney Davis, Kimberly Jackson and Chad Davis. Kim presently resides in Beverly Hills, California.
Kim initiated her successful acting career when she was just four months old. Her very first gig was for a television diaper commercial. Kim was a very successful child actor who had appeared in an array of television series and motion pictures, including “Nanny and the Professor,” “Escape to Witch Mountain,” “No Deposit, No Return,” “Return from Witch Mountain” and “Little House on the Prairie.”
Kim would disappear from the entertainment industry after 1989 in order to concentrate on her children. She did make her return to Hollywood by appearing in the 2009 remake of “Race to Witch Mountain,” which starred Dwayne Johnson. Kim has repeatedly stated that she would like to make pictures again because now her children are all grown up.
In 2010, Kim was tapped by the Bravo TV Network to appear as a regular cast member of the hit relaity television series “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” She starred next to her sister, Kyle. Unfortunately for Kim, she was let go from the show because of her personal struggles. Kim would eventually return to the show as a guest star in the sixth season.
