What should have been a celebratory moment morphed into a scandal. Reportedly, as she was preparing for the contest, Alicia was anorexic and bulimic and won just 116 pounds. Throughout her reign, she gained 12 pounds, but drew a lot of attention from the press and Donald Trump, who took over the event.
Her media attention helped obtain her very first television role in 1998 for the series “Samantha.” Three years later, she had a small part in the international soap opera “Secreto de Amore.” Following her stint in telenovelas, Alicia sought out a television commercial career, which didn’t go anywhere. Instead, in 2005, Alicia appeared in two reality series called “The Farm” and “Singing For A Dream.”
In 2006, Alicia graced the cover of the Mexican edition of Playboy magazine. She made history with this appearance as she became the very first and only Miss Universe to pose nude for the magazine. Alicia posed nude again for the magazine in the July 2010 issue.
She returned to television in 2011 when she was cast on the comedic soap opera “Una familia con suerte.” A year later, Alicia was a competitor on the third season of “Mira Quien Baila.” In 2013, she starred in the hit television series “La Madame.” Soon afterwards, she became a mentor for the Univision beauty pageant “Nuestra Belleza Latina 2014.”

Alicia has since become actively involved in the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. Her primary role seems to be to constantly attacking Republican nominee Donald Trump.
We estimate that Alicia Machado’s net worth is $4 million (2016).
So how much is $4 million really?
$4 million can assist you in preparing your daughter from a very young age for these beauty pageants. $4 million can also be provided to the Clinton Foundation for some favors.
