Omaraosa Manigault was born on February 5, 1974 in Youngstown, Ohio. She is the dauther of Theresa Marie Walker and Jack Thomas Manigault, Sr. She has two siblings: Gladys Louise and Jack Thomas, who was murdered.
Omarosa attended The Rayen School. Upon graduation, Omarosa attended Central State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. After university, she relocated to Washington, D.C. and then attended Howard University to gain a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in communications. She also garnered Biblical Studies training at Payne Theological Seminary.
In 2000, Omarosa married Aaron Stallworth, but they were divorced in 2005. She then entered into a relationship with actor Michael Clarke Duncan, but he would pass away. Omarosa is now engaged to Dr. John Allen, a pastor from Florida.
Omarosa started her career in the Bill Clinton Administration, where she worked in the office of Vice President Al Gore. She was the special assistant of logistics and deputy associate director of presidential personnel. In 2004, Omarosa rose to prominence by appearing on the hit reality television series “The Apprentice.” Four years later, she appeared on “Celebrity Apprentice.” In 2010, she launched a new dating show alongside Donald Trump called “The Ultimate Merger.”
In July 2016, Omarosa announced at the Republican National Convention (RNC) that she would serve as the director of African-American outreach for Trump’s presidential campaign. She is now the director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison in the Trump White House.
Omarosa recently generated a bit of controversy by getting into a fierce exchange with television hosts Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin.
