Name: Heidi Klum
Born: 1 June 1973
Occupation: Model, Television Host and Judge, Actress, Fashion Designer
Supermodel Heidi Klum was born and raised in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany. At the persuasion of a friend, Heidi entered a national modeling competition when she was 18 and beat out over 25,000 hopefuls. She won the contest and along with it came a modeling contract worth $300,000. She gave up her pursuit of attending a fashion design school to pursue her new found career.
After modeling in Europe for several years she moved to New York where she became a Victoria’s Secret Angel. Soon after, she got the highly sought after cover of Sports Illustrated for their swimsuit issue in 1998. She became one of the top models in the world posing for magazines such as Elle, Vogue, and Marie Claire. Not slowing down for a minute, she then began her acting career appearing in the television sitcom Spin City which lead to big screen roles in Blow Dry, Ella Enchanted, and The Life and Death of Peter Sellers.
Going back to her love of fashion designing she partnered with Harvey Weinstein and developed the show Project Runway, serving as both executive producer and host. Along with commercial success came three Emmy Award nominations. In addition to this show she also host’s the German show Germany’s Next Top Model.
As for her personal life she has been married twice, the last time to singer Seal, who she recently divorced. Although unable to maintain a marriage, she has no problem maintaining her bank account. With her years of modeling, television shows, product endorsements, and fashion designing, we estimate Heidi’s net worth to be $70 million dollars (44,000,000 GBP).
So how much is $70 million dollars really?
Since Heidi is so busy running from engagement to engagement, it would be wise for her to invest her money in a good watch to make sure she’s on time. The world’s most expensive watch, The Patek Caliber 89, would certainly fit the bill. At a price tag of $5,000,000 she could buy one for herself and one for 13 of her closest friends.
If you’re thinking a $5,000,000 watch is a bit over the top for a gift, she could donate a few trench coats to the homeless. With her money, she’d be able to give 35,000 Burberry trench coats to those who need it most. Now that’s spreading the wealth and warmth.
