Kim Fields was born on May 12, 1969 in New York City, New York. She is the daughter of legendary actress and director Chip Fields, who co-starred with her on a couple of hit television shows. Kim attended the Pepperdine University to study film and television.

Kim was married to film producer Jonathan Freeman from 1995 to 2001. The couple eventually ended their marriage. She then started to see Broadway actor Christopher Morgan, and the couple had their first child, Sebastian Alexander, in 2007. In that same year, the couple got married, and six years later had a second child, Quincy.

She has had a varied, rich and successful career in the entertainment industry.

During her start in television, Kim released two hit singles for Critique Records called “He Loves Me He Loves Me Not” and “Dear Michael.” She also started to perform R&B and rap music with a band called Impromp2.

When it comes to television, she has appeared on such shows as “Baby, I’m Back,” “Facts of Life,” “Good Times,” “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” and “Living Single.” Kim has also directed television series, including directing various episodes of “All That!” “Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns,” “Let’s Stay Together” and “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.”

It was announced in August 2015 that she would become a full-time cast member in the eighth season of the hit reality television series “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” She would join the likes of NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss.

We estimate that Kim Fields’s net worth is $8 million (2016).

So how much is $8 million really?

There is no doubt that $8 million is a lot of money, but it’s still less than her RHOA co-stars NeNe Leakes ($12 million) and Kandi Burruss ($35 million).

Since one of her very first gigs was starring in a television commercial for Mrs. Butterworth’s pancake syrup, $8 million can buy you around three million Mrs. Butterworth products. $8 million can also buy you about 200,000 copies of any of the television series she has appeared in.
