Erin Andrews was born on May 4, 1978 in Lewiston, Maine. She is the daughter of Steven Andrews, a television journalist and Emmy Award-winner, and Paul Andrews, a school teacher. Erin has a younger sister, Kendra, who is now a professional actress and dancer.
Moving to San Antonio, Texas at just five years of age and then later relocating to Tampa, Florida soon after, Erin attended Bloomingdale High School and the Brandon School of Dance Arts. After graduation, she attended the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunications.
Erin is currently in a much publicized relationship with professional hockey player Jarret Stoll of the Minnesota Wild. She presently resides in Los Angeles, California.
Erin started her career in journalism in 2000 when she was hired by Fox Sports Florida as a freelance reporter. One year later, the Sunshine Network brought her in as a Tampa Bay Lightning reporter. In 2002 until 2004, Erin worked as a studio host and reporter for the Turner South network to cover games for the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Thrashers.

Erin has been actively involved in charitable endeavors. In 2010, Erin served as a spokesperson for the Kraft Foods Huddle to Fight Hunger campaign, which ultimately raised nearly $3 million. A year later, she collaborated with StubHub to work on the Girls Night Out campaign, an initiative to encourage women take part in their sports teams. In 2013, Erin co-hosted a CMT disaster relief concert to raise money for the American Red Cross.
The sports journalist recently dominated headlines for a severe stalking incident. Erin was rewarded $55 million in a civil lawsuit against Michael David Barrett, who had recorded Erin in the nude, which was published online and went viral.
