Lizzie Rovsek was born on January 31, 1980 in Columbia, Kentucky. She is the daughter of Benjamin A. Arnold and Margaret Angela Arnold.
Prior to attending the University of Kentucky, Lizzie’s beauty helped her compete in various beauty pageants across the United States. In 1998, Lizzie was victorious in obtaining the Miss Kentucky Teen USA. She made her national television debut that same year by participating in Miss Teen USA in Shreveport, Louisiana. She would lose to South Carolina’s Vanessa Minnillo.
This didn’t prevent her from continuing on in the beauty pageant niche. In 2002, Lizzie was Miss Kentucky USA and would represent her home state in the Miss USA 2002 pageant. She would lose to the District of Columbia’s Shauntay Hinton.
Lizzie would pursue her education at the University of Kentucky by gaining a degree in design, merchandising and textiles. During her time at the post-secondary institution, Lizzie was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
Lizzie is the former girlfriend of singer and boy band member Nick Lachey. In 2009, she married Christian Rovsek, a multi-million-dollar American real estate investor, philanthropist and entrepreneur. They presently reside in Orange County, California with their two children, Preston and Kingston.
For several years, Lizzie garnered an array of hosting gigs. In 2004, Lizzie hosted the NBA All-Star game, and two years later she appeared at the Us Magazine and Rolling Stone Rock the Oscars After Party. In that same year, she attended the Mint Jubilee Gala. Lizzie even delved in motion pictures by landing a role in the 2006 film “Stand by Your Man.”
It wasn’t until 2014 when Lizzie made it really big and claimed national fame. She was signed by Bravo network to be a main cast member in the ninth season of the hit reality television series “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
