He played for the Arizona Wildcats football team from 2007 and 2009, and was an impeccable performer as he put forward 18.8 yards per reception, which was the team-best. He even made headlines for his performances. Placed on the Lombardi Award watch list, he missed his junior season in 2009 because of back surgery. This caused his draft stock to decline immensely.
In 2010, Rob was drafted by the New England Patriots 42nd overall in the second round. He signed a four-year contract worth $4.4 million with a $1.76 million signing bonus. Was it worth the money for the NFL team? In 80 games, Rob has recorded more than 5,550 yards with 65 touchdowns, and has set numerous NFL and team records.
His success has seen him receive a large number of endorsements and sponsorships for Dunkin’ Donuts, Monster Energy, PLB Sports and EA Sports. Because of the value of these endorsement and sponsorship deals, Rob has said he hasn’t spent any of his football earnings.
Rob penned his autobiography entitled “It’s Good to be Gronk!”
It was reported in early 2016 that Rob is considering a career in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) once his football career has come to an end. With his charismatic personality and athletic ability, many feel that he would be a very wise choice for Vince McMahon and the WWE.
We estimate that Rob Gronkowski’s net worth is $35 million (2016).
So how much is $35 million really?
