Drew Pinsky was born in Pasadena, California on September 4, 1958. He is the son of Helene Stanon Mae Stansbury, a retired singer and actress, and Morton Pinsky, a physician. He has one sister, Dana.
Drew’s education is extensive. He attended Polytechnic School, studied biology at Amherst College, earned his M.D. at the University of South California’s School of Medicine and performed his residency in internal medicine at USC County Hospital.
Since 1991, Drew has been married to Susan Sailer. The couple had triplets in 1992 named Douglas, Jordan and Paulina. The family presently resides in his hometown of Pasadena.
Drew would become chief resident at Huntington Memorial Hospital and would move into private practice. He would also branch out into other territories, essentially merging his medicine career with pop culture.
As a medical student in 1984, Drew appeared on the KROQ-FM Sunday night show “Ask a Surgeon,” which would later become “Loveline.” This show went national in 1995 and went to MTV, which was then hosted by Drew and comedian Adam Carolla. Drew started his television career in 1984 when he was a contestant on the long-running game show “Wheel of Fortune.” In 2000, he acted as the health and human relations expert in the debut season of the hit American television series “Big Brother.” He would go on to host several television series, including “Sex…with Mom and Dad,” “Strictly Sex with Dr. Drew,” “Strictly Dr. Drew” and “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.” In 2011, he started to host his own show on CNN’s HLN called “Dr. Drew On Call.”

Drew regularly delivers speeches on college campuses, he is an avid opera singer, he is dedicated to physical fitness and he is a non-observant Jew. Although not much of a political pundit, Drew has regularly lambasted the federal government’s tyrannical overreach and has called for a brand new “Liberty Party.”
We estimate that Drew Pinsky’s net worth is $20 million (2016).
So how much is $20 million really?
$20 million can buy you a McMansion home in the middle of Pasadena. $20 million can also help put you through medical school at some of the best universities in the U.S. and around the world today.
