Usain Bolt was born in Sherwood Content, Jamaica on August 21, 1986. He is the son of Jennifer and Wellesley Bolt, who were the owners of a local grocery store in Trelawny. He has two siblings: Sadiki and Sherine.

He attended the Waldensia Primary school and the William Knibb Memorial High School. During his time in elementary and secondary school, he would cultivate his passion for sprinting and his overall affinity for sports.

Usain has been romantically linked to seven women, including Mizicann Evans, Taneish Simpson, Lubica Kucerova, Kasi Bennett and Jady Duarte. Despite his vast wealth, Usain still resides in his native land of Jamaica.

Although he would concentrate on other sports, like cricket, he was always urged to continue track and field. Pablo McNeil, a former Olympic sprint athlete, and Dwayne Jarrett coached Usain in this area. This turned out well because he had won his first high school championships medal in 2001 by winning silver in the 200-meter dash. This would be only the beginning of something much bigger.

For years, Usain would continue to move up the sprinting ladder by competing and winning various regional and world competitions. He would set records, win medals and gradually garner international recognition. It wasn’t until the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he broke records, earned gold medals and became a globally recognized figure.

Usain continued to participate in regional and world competitions thereafter. He would return to the Olympic venue during the 2012 event in London. Once again, it was the same result: he won gold medals, improved upon his own records and added to his nickname “Lightning Bolt.” Four years later, Usain dominated his specialty once again, and only had one close competitor: Andre DeGrasse.

Over the years, Usain has been given sponsorship deals with the likes of Puma, Gatorade, Visa and Virgin Media.

Outside of being the world’s fastest man, Usain is an avid fan of cricket and soccer. He also loves to dance, play music and play video games, particularly “Call of Duty.” Usain has confessed that he stays up late at night just so he can play the video game.

We estimate that Usain Bolt’s net worth is $30 million (2016).

So how much is $30 million really?

$30 million can help pay just to bid for a Summer Olympics to come to your city. $30 million can also pay to construct an Olympic venue. $30 million can also contribute to a deal to have Usain endorse your product.
