Roman Atwood was born on May 28, 1983 in Millersport, Ohio. He is the son of Curt Dale Atwood and Susan Atwood. He has one sibling: Dale Atwood.

Roman was previously married to Shanna Riley and had one child together: Noah Vaughan. They divorced in 2008. Roman is presently in a relationship with Brittney Smith. Some have started to accuse Roman of staging prank videos. The likes of YouTube stars Philip DeFranco and The Prank Reviewer have alleged that Roman and Yousef have posted videos using actors. If correct, this would violate YouTube’s policy of misleading content. This has become a common issue on YouTube these days.
