Diamond Dallas Page was born in Point Pleasant, New Jersey on April 5, 1956. He is the son of Sylvia Seigel and Page Falkinburg Sr. He has two siblings: Rory and Sally. They were raised by their maternal grandmother following their parents’ divorce.
DDP attended St. Joseph’s High School in Toms River, New Jersey and then Point Pleasant Boro High School. He was a star basketball at both high schools. Upon his high school graduation, he attended the Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina. DDP would drop out in order to focus on full-time work.
In 1991, DDP would marry Kimberly, but separated in 2004 and divorced in 2005. In 2014, he became engaged to Brenda Nair and were married in 2015. He has two daughters: Brittany and Kimberly.
DDP was running a nightclub in Florida called Norma Jeans. During this time, he started working as a wrestling manager for the American Wrestling Association (AWA). He managed AWA World Tag Team Champions Badd Company, Colonel DeBeers, Curt Hennig and Madusa Miceli. He would later serve as a color commentator for Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). DDP would audition for a role as an announcer for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 1990, but he was not offered a job.
In 1991, DDP was offered a contract at World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He started out as a manager, but he slowly transitioned into a wrestler, being trained by the legend Dusty Rhodes. He would make his in-ring debut in a tag team match with Diamond Studd. DDP eventually competed in singles competition and became one of the biggest stars in the company. He feuded with the likes of Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, Chris Benoit, Sting, Ric Flair and many others. DDP would win multiple titles in his WCW career, including the World Heavyweight Championship.
After the company folded, DDP went to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where he didn’t experience as much success as he did in WCW. After starting out red hot in WWE, he eventually fizzled out and became a jobber. DDP left the WWE in 2002 in order to heal his body – DDP signed with Total Nonstop Action (TNA), but left a year later.
In 2011, DDP returned to the WWE in a small capacity by appearing on various episodes of Monday Night Raw, DVDs, wrestling events and in other duties. He will be inducted into the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame.
Outside of pro-wrestling, DDP is an avid yoga fitness instructor and developed his own program. He eventually published a book and recorded workout videos called DDP Yoga. His business has become a success after making appearances on ABC‘s “Good Morning America,” ABC‘s “Shark Tank” and on WWE programming. What helped DDP Yoga was the report that the fitness program helped Arthur Boorman, a disabled war veteran who was told he could never walk again, lose weight and regain the ability to walk without any assistance.
DDP also hosts a radio show called “DDP Radio.”
We estimate that Diamond Dallas Page’s net worth is $2 million (2016).
So how much is $2 million really?
$2 million could help you travel to remote resorts to participate in yoga camps. $2 million could also help you invest in the DDP Yoga company.
