Bill Burr was born on June 10, 1968 in Canton, Massachusetts. His father was a dentist and his brother, Robert, ran for the United States Senate in Massachusetts in 2009.
Bill studied at Emerson College and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Radio in 1993.
In 2013, Bill married Nia Hill, a producer and screenwriter. They have one daughter, who was born on Inauguration Day 2017; he has refused to reveal the name of his child “because there’s too many weirdos out there.” The family currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
Prior to embarking upon a career in comedy, Bill worked as an assistant in a dental office and a forklift operator at warehouses. His comedy career started in 1992 and accelerated in 1995 when he relocated to New York City. He has maintained an extensive and eclectic entertainment career.
