Maxine Waters was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 15, 1938. She is the daughter of Remus Carr and Verlma Lee Moore and she has 12 siblings.

Maxine went to Vashon High School and graduated in 1961. Her family relocated to Los Angeles soon after, and she enrolled in California State University, Los Angeles, earning a sociology degree in 1970.

She has been married twice before. Her second husband is Sid Williams, a former NFL player and former U.S. Ambassador to the Bahamas under President Bill Clinton. She has two children, Edward and Karen. Maxine presently lives in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods of Los Angeles.

One of her earliest jobs was that of a teacher. She expanded her civil service by working as the chief deputy to City Councilman David S. Cunningham, Jr. In 1976, she joined the California State Assembly and would later rise to become Democratic Caucus Chair for the Assembly.

Maxine would enter federal politics in 1990 and become elected to California’s 29th Congressional District – it later became the 35th Congressional District. She has since served 14 terms in the House of Representatives and is currently the ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee.

Some of her positions in public office have been supporting trillion-dollar jobs programs, opposing the Iraq War, advocating against mandatory minimum sentences and demanding an end to the U.S. trade embargo in Cuba. Maxine has risen to prominence in 2017 for her ardent opposition to President Donald Trump and his administration, many millennials referring to the congresswoman as Auntie Maxine.

Over the years, Maxine has had to contend with allegations of corruption. Two of the most famous accusations include her relatives earning more than $1 million by doing business with businesses and organizations that she helped as a representative and violating ethics by helping a bank that her husband worked with receive federal funds. Like most politicians, the charges did not stick.

Maxine has been awarded the Candace Award in 1992 and the Bruce F. Vento Award and a preparation center was named after her in Watts, California.

We estimate that Maxine Waters’s net worth is $1 million (2016).

So how much is $1 million really?

$1 million can pay for the fraction of a congressional race. $1 million can also pay for a quarter of the cost of her 6,000 square foot mansion.

    MAXINE WATERS is ugly

  2. She looks like a [REMOVED BY EDITOR] I bet she loves [REMOVED BY EDITOR]

  3. How ignorant can people be to believe in these crooks who have no real compassion for you or me- it’s all about greed and deception! Maxine wouldn’t even look your way if it didn’t mean money in her pocket!

  4. Barbara Daggett

You are one of the despicable persons in our congress. I want to impeach YOU, a very sick and disgusting person… you and Nancy Pelosi need to get over yourselves and start thinking of America.
Do you think we voters are stupid. Like myself and spouse… very educated beyond yours & never missed voting… my remarks are kinder than what my REAL feelings are about you… detrimental plus.
Plus I am sick of all the racist crap … again, GET OVER IT, sicko.

@Barbara Daggett: “Like myself and spouse… very educated beyond yours”

You couldn’t even manage that sentence without fucking up the grammar, you braindead redneck. YOU educated? Don’t make me laugh. You’re so dumb you couldn’t manage the door handle on a kindergarten without a video guide.

  5. It’s a shame to read all the name-calling and references. There are no limits to what humans will do to each other when fueled by hatred. As a representative of the segment of white-hating black culture, Maxine is doing her job. Connect that to her Democrat affiliation and incredible wealth, you know she has been a very successful politician. We don’t need to call her names. She has a base that loves her, as revealed by responses. This time she has exceeded reasonable limits and it may very well cost her dearly. When Chuck Schumer criticizes her, she must be very naughty. We must make allowances just for being a Democrat.

  6. Yam is Bobo

I think she is a corrupt anarchist.
She has a lot of dirt but is busy pointing fingers and throwing tantrums. She seems pretty dumb for a position she holds and that doesn’t say much for her constituents.
