Jessie James Decker was born in Vicenza, Italy on April 12, 1988. She is the daughter of Karen Parker and a U.S. Air Force service member. She has two siblings: John and Sydney. Jessie has lived in Italy, Germany and across the United States.
In 2013, Jessie married Erick Decker, an NFL wide receiver for the Denver Broncos. The couple has two children: Vivianne Rose and Eric Thomas. The family presently resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jessie’s passion for music started when she was just nine years old, singing and writing music and competing in talent contests. She would hone her skills throughout her teenage years. Jessie has said that her musical inspirations are Janis Joplin, Jessica Simpson, Shania Twain and Christina Aguilera.
In August 2009, Jessie released her debut album, debuting at No. 23 on the Billboard 200 to mixed reviews. A year later, Jessie released her second album, “Sweet American Dreams.” Again, it received mixed reviews and modest success. Jessie credits the mixed results for the studio producers wanting her to integrate pop music, hip hop and country, but she simply wanted to sing country music. The producers eventually caved and allowed her to make country music.
Over the years, Jessie has recorded and released several hit singles, such as “I Do,” “Clint Eastwood,” “Lights Down Low” and “Southern Girl City Lights.”
Jessie entered into reality television in 2014 when E! released “Eric & Jessie: Game On.” This helped Jessie start making more appearances on television shows, including “Redneck Island” and “Chopped Junior.”
Outside of singing, Jessie has ventured into other avenues, including launching her own clothing line called “Kittenish” and creating a YouTube channel dedicated to fashion, beauty and style.
We estimate that Jessie James Decker’s net worth is $1.5 million (2017).
So how much is $1.5 million really?
$1.5 million can buy your own studio, equipment and recording staff to release music. $1.5 million can also produce your own reality television series.
