Frank Fritz was born in Davenport, Ohio on March 3, 1965. He is the son of Bill Fritz and Susan Zirbes.
Frank attended Bettendorf High School and graduated in 1982. During his secondary education, Frank would collect rocks and beer cans, which would later progress into capturing antiquate parts of motorcycles and automobiles.
Frank has been married to longtime girlfriend, Jodi Faeth, since 2012. It is unknown if the couple has any children.
Frank originally worked as a fire and safety inspector, but his true passion was antique junk. He eventually quit his job and established a business with partner Mike Wolfe, and he maintains a location in Iowa and another one in Tennessee. The company buys and sells antique parts of cars and motorcycles, a venture that would land him on television.
In 2010, he would grace America’s televisions by being a featured cast member on the hit reality television series “American Pickers.” The show follows Frank and Mike across the United States, buying and selecting a wide array of antique items for the purpose of reselling them to customers. It is one of the highest rated programs on the History Channel network.
According to numerous reports, the show is heading to Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas for filming.
He has been one of the most popular cast members, and this popularity has helped him land appearances on multiple shows, including “Late Show with David Letterman,” “Rachael Ray,” “Who Wants to be a Millionaire,” NBC’s “Today” and even “American Dad.”
