Dan career’s in the auction business started when he was just 11 years old. His grandfather would teach him the inner workings of the industry during the summer when he was not in school. Because he had such a passion for auctioneering, Dan would miss class and participate in the Chino auction in California, selling furniture for Merl Bernard, an auctioneer.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Dan managed and ran a Riverside-based auction house that honed in on collectibles, furniture, porcelain dolls and pottery. It was in 1983 when Dan launched America Auctioneers, a company that specializes in auctions of storage lockers, business inventories, estates and other elements. Dan is also the owner and operator of StorageAuctions.net, a digital self-storage auction listings website in the United States and Canada.

Over the last few years, Dan has made multiple appearances on such TV programs as “Hot in Cleveland,” “Cockroaches,” “Anderson Live,” “Fox and Friends” and “Let’s Make a Deal.” He has also been featured in The Washington Post, USA Today and TMZ.
