Georgina Chapman was born in London, England on April 14, 1976. She is the daughter of Brian Chapman, co-owner of coffee business Percol, and Caroline Wonfor, a reporter.
She attended Marlborough College, and later enrolled in Chelsea College of Art and Design. Georgina then graduated from the Wimbledon School of Art in 2001, specializing in costume design.
In December 2007, Georgina married Hollywood executive Harvey Weinstein. The couple had two children: India Pearl and Dashiell Max Robert. They lived in Westport, Connecticut and Los Angeles, California. Soon after the sex scandal plagued her husband in October 2017, Georgina announced that she would be leaving the Hollywood mogul.
During her college days, Georgina was a successful model, posing in advertisements for a wide range of brands, including Head & Shoulders and Soothers. After her post-secondary studies were completed, Georgia launched a business with Keren Craig called Marchesa, a fashion brand.
In addition to the business world, Georgina starred in a wide array of television shows and motion pictures, such as Woody Allen’s “Match Point,” Robert Rodriguez’s “Grindhouse,” “The Nanny Diaries,” and “Awake.” She has also served as a judge on the hit reality television series “Project Runway: All Stars” since 2012.
We estimate that Georgina Chapman’s net worth is $20 million (2018).
So how much is $20 million really?
$20 million can launch a fashion brand that specializes in specific styles (business, maternity, athletic). $20 million can also buy a mansion in Los Angeles and in Connecticut.
