Mark Levin was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 21, 1957. He is the son of Jack E. Levin, an author, and Norma Levin. He has two siblings, including Mark. He was raised in a Jewish household.
Mark attended Cheltenham High School, graduating in just three years. He later studied at Temple University Ambler, finishing with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in only three years. Mark also earned a J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
He is currently married to Kendall Levin and they have two children, Chase and Lauren. The family presently lives in the state of Pennsylvania.
Mark first became involved in the political scene in 1977 when he was elected to the Cheltenham school board on a crusade to slash property taxes. Four years later, Levin was employed as an adviser to several officials inside President Ronald Reagan’s administration. He has also served as deputy assistant secretary for elementary and secondary education at the U.S. Department of Education and deputy solicitor of the U.S. Department of the Interior.
He has dipped his toes in the private sector, too. Mark practiced law and worked for Texas Instruments. He is also head of the Landmark Legal Foundation. But Mark would soar to the national stage by becoming one of the biggest conservative talk radio stars in the United States.
Mark began filling in for the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. By 2006, Mark was tapped by Cumulus Media Networks, launching his own nationally syndicated talk program “The Mark Levin Show.” In 2016, he signed a 10-year contract with Westwood One.
Mark made his way to television in 2018. The Fox News Channel announced in February 2018 that they would be airing a one-hour primetime show on Sundays called “Life, Liberty & Levin.”
He has written multiple books, including “Rediscovering Americanism and the Tyranny Progressivism,” “The Liberty Amendment,” and “Plunder and Deceit.”
In the 2016 election, Mark first endorsed Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and then, when it became clear he had won the Republican Party nomination, President Donald Trump. Despite his staunch conservatism, Mark has criticized many members of the Republican Party.
We estimate that Mark Levin’s net worth is $5 million (2017).
So how much is $5 million really?
$5 million can pay for the salaries of a couple of on-air Fox News talents. $5 million can also pay Mark Levin’s annual salary at a legal non-profit for more than a decade.
