Chris Hardwick was born in Louisville, Kentucky on November 23, 1971. He is the son of Sharon Hills, a real estate agent, and Billy Hardwick, a professional bowler. He has one brother, Eddie.
Chris attended St. Benedict Auburndale High School, Regis Jesuit High School, and Loyola High School. He enrolled in UCLA where he studied philosophy.
