Name: Anne M. “Annie” Mumolo
Born: 10 July 1973
Occupation: Actress, Comedienne, Screenwriter, Voice actress
Annie Mumolo grew up in Irvine, California with her father who was a dentist and her mother who was a homemaker. She is most known for co-writing the hit comedy Bridesmaids with Kristen Wiig, a former Saturday Night Live alum. It came out in theatres in 2011 and was considered a hit comedy. For her work on the screenplay she was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Original Screenplay, an Academy Award for Best Writing (Original Screenplay), a Washington D.C. Area Film Critics Association Award for Best Original Screenplay, and a Writers Guild of America Award for Best Original Screenplay.
In addition to her work as a comedy writer, she performs with the comedy troupe The Groundlings, along with Kristen. She has had small parts in movies such as Bewitched, Bridesmaids, and This is 40. Annie has also done a lot of voice work on children’s cartoons such as Maya & Miguel, Curious George, Ben & Izzy, Handy Manny, Ape Escape, and most recently The Looney Tunes Show. She has also had several small television parts in shows such as Two and a Half Men and In the Motherhood.
A talented writer and voice actress, her body of work isn’t quite that of some of her peers, although we expect good things from her in the future. We estimate her current net worth to be $2,000,000 (GBP 1,200,000).
So how much is $2 million dollars really?
Since we know Annie likes to write, maybe she needs some paper. For her cool $2 million she could get almost 2 million notebooks. But if she were on a roll and needed to be a little faster, she could purchase a nice Apple computer for $4,000 and have enough left over for 249,500 reams of paper. That’s 124,750,000 sheets of paper to write her next hit on. She may want to share those with Kristen though, since they seem to work so good together. That would leave her with only 62,375,000 sheets, which we hope would be enough, and maybe Kristen could pay for the ink.
